As a child, Georgina fell in love with painting and drawing, finding she was able to express herself through art in a way she struggled to with words. After some disparaging comments from a teacher when she was 17, she put the pencils down until years later during a transformative stint in rehab for addiction issues.

Today, she is sober and fully engaged in recovery, which has led to huge growth in her artistry. She has taken a few short art-based courses, but her development has been largely self-directed.

Her favourite subjects are people and pets, usually interpreted in her signature dark style, but she also likes to hone in on religious and supernatural iconography. Other running themes include mental health and feminism. She’s an outspoken advocate in both areas, particularly the topic of misogynistic abuse, after being at the centre of Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross’s notorious ‘Sachsgate’.
